Primary School

The primary school programme at Sri Bharathi Public School is based on findings in behavioral and developmental psychology and educational research. That means that Bharathi Public School provides primary school students the opportunities for exploring and adapting their understandings. Such an approach is based on research showing that knowledge is best gained and retained when it is constructed.

A skills and activities based approach forms the backbone of our teaching methodology. Emphasis is put on public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills, and team work. Our dedicated faculty members follow a child-centric approach, providing kids ample opportunities to learn and also apply what they have learnt.

Teachers at Bharathi School evaluate the child’s body of work and daily classroom activities, recording each development on categorized progress charts. They comprehensively recognize different milestones achieved through the process, especially to identify the student’s area of interest, and create a portfolio for regular appraisal of his or her overall performance.

Our Objectives
  • To make learning fun by introducing elements beyond the four walls of the classroom.
  • To develop knowledge and skills of a student in stages.
  • To address both the physical and cognitive needs of the child.
